Salutations, traveler of The Internets! Welcome to William's Bloody Hell, so named after our founder, Sir Bloody William.
He is seen in the likeness above in a rare, 19th century woodcut. This
image was rumoured to have been
commissioned after a bout of unpleasantness
in the White Chapel district of London. Do enjoy your stay and peruse our many, varied offerings, much of which cannot be found elsewhere!

The following review was completed on November 4, 2003 and is for Version 1.5: Autumn Leaves.
Splash: 3/5
The first thing I notice is the border around the image. add in a border="0"
into your image tag to get rid of it. You don't need 'Click to image to Enter'
it's pretty much self-explanatory when there's an image on the splash page, or
you can always add in an Enter link at the end of the requirements. Take out the
'(any less and it'll be squishy)' after '1024 x 768' it's implied that any less
will make it look bad.
Loading: 4/5
all the pages and pictures load pretty fast, you get the points from me.
Navigation: 4/5
Navigation is easy. The only problem that I really had was that when I clicked
on the picture of you (I'm assuming) it brought me to an 'about me' page. That
link should be moved up to the main navigation. And the picture can link back to
the main page instead.
Organization: 3/5
Everything is pretty well organized. Just a couple of things. (all mentioned
below, in their rightful sections)
Layout: 0/0
From what you've told me before, I won't grade you on the layout, I see that you
are using frames. I think that you should switch everything to iFrames. It'll
make everything look really nice. You would still be able to use the same
picture. So, you could have the picture of the left side and position the iFrame
to the right of it, and then position the navigation right about the iFrame.
Also make the font size a little smaller, then it might be accessible to 800 x
600 users, as well.
Content: 25/30
About Me
You've got some of the basics, but how about your birth date, or ethnicity,
etc.? those are usually included in the basics. you can also write a short bio.
But I did like the death test and the afterlife. I'm supposed to die of cancer
when I'm 89 and I get to go to purgatory. :P
Art
I like how you have a thumbnails and text link index. But there are just a few
things. 1) The thumbnails looks really messy. If you make the thumbnails all the
same height, instead of the same width, then it'll look much nicer. (look at the
way MangAnime
organizes their pictures) and also add in a border=0 into all the image
tags. 2) I see that you have one index of all the thumbnails and one index for
each section. you should just delete the separate section index and when you
link it from each of the text link ones, just use anchors. That way, it'll take
up less space and bandwidth. I also think that you should just say something
about the picture; like, any comments you may have about it, whether you liked
the way it turned out.
Reviews
I liked these. They were interesting to read and actually made me want to read
the book or see (some) of the movies. I commend you on these. ^^
Misc.
I liked the quizzes. They were fun, although I didn't score more than three on
any of them. For the 'Awards Won' you should separate them into three
sections: 1) awards given from other sites 2) plaques from answering actual
quizzes and 3) personality quiz results (otherwise, it's confusing; it confused
me at first)
Rants
These were very entertaining. about the Christianity, I doubt that many people
know details, either. 'Villain Names' was very fun to read. I agree about the
'Bond, James Bond' I've seen four or five of those and it gets old
Originality: 9/10
I thought that the majority of your content was really original. I mean, art
book/movie reviews, and rants are always original, right? The only thing
that you could improve in would be the 'About Me' section
Errors: 8/10
1) add in a target="_blank" in the 'I hate myself' link.
2) change '# is in Hell' to '# in Hell', so no matter what number it is, the
grammar will be correct.
3) for the 'what kind of kitty are you?' add in a target="_blank" to the
link 4) add in a border=0 in image tag for the very last quiz plaque.
Overall: 4/5
I really enjoyed coming here. Everything was really original and interesting. It
kept me occupied for a really long time. It's not very pleasing to the eye, but
at the same time it's not an eyesore. It's just sorta. . .in between. I would
suggest to just tidy everything up and make it look more clean and crisp.
Ending Comments:
The only thing that you are lacking in are better html skills and graphics
skills (which you don't really need, I guess) If you just make everything look
real neat, and convert it to iFrames, I'd say you have a really good chance of
getting hosted.
