Too Evil to Let Go. Check it out, my first Potter-verse villain, Voldemeort and his pet snake Nagini! I loosely based Voldy's outfit off of one of the toys/statues available and jazzed it up a little with Chinese style accents. He's wearing wizard robes or as I like to call 'em, a Mystical Man-dress, consisting of two layers: a green foundation frock and a black, floor length vest type thing. I rather like the outfit design, actually, though you can't see much of it here due to snake and deep shadows. I also like how Nagini turned out here. I always pictured her as an albino python, but I don't recall if this is ever specifically mentioned in the books. I just think albino pythons are creepy looking is all. She does look heavy in her thickest part, slung over Voldy's shoulder and the little curl going up his finger looks almost endearing. I was going for a way to show that this was no ordinary snake, that she and Voldemort have a strong bond, thus this finger curl which a real snake would never do. I used a point of reference for his hands, which is probably, no definitely why they turned out so well. I had to add in the green lighting effect due to Nagini's light colouring. I had to have something for her to contrast against and it was either this or yet another brick wall. And lastly, the title is derived from a song by The Church called "Reptile" which I listened to quite a lot while drawing this.
