I Can Be Cruel. Created this one for 0utsp0k3n Blends, the Sarah Michelle Gellar in any other role other than Buffy challenge. I decided on her role as Katherine in Cruel Intentions, simply because I thought it would be keen to use the lyrics on it, which are from the Tori Amos song "Cruel." I thought they fit nicely. Okay, went a little different, here, and I'm not sure how I like it. The left image was of her in a lovely negligee in bed, the bottom right is her looking well, all sexy-like, and the middle is from the end of the film, when she's found out for being the bitch that she is and starts to cry. I thought that middle image would be good for the central focus and to put the others sort of floating around her like stray thoughts, and the lyrics imply that she doesn't know why she does the things she does. So. Used some transparencies like usual, and increased the gamma on the main image so it would be darker and the others could hide it its shadows. I had to emphasize her tear a bit, so I used the image sprayer to put a rain drop over it. You can STILL barely see it. Meh. I adjusted the color balance to 25 red, 25 magenta and 28 blue. Then put the smart blur over the whole thing. Insert lyrics and crosses (just because), and done. It was pretty quick overall. I'm sure it looks it, too. I don't think it will win any prizes, but it isn't hideous.
