Daria, the Mona Lisa. It's another installment in my Daria Alter Ego series! Well, it may very well turn into a series of two, but I really hope to do more of them some time. This depicts the show's lead character Daria as the daVinci portrait The Mona Lisa. I thought Daria made sense as this alter ego because she very rarely smiles, but when she does it's usually small and coy, like the Mona Lisa's. No, I did not attempt the background because 1. the actual series alter egos rarely have backgrounds and 2. I didn't want all that stuff to detract from the character image and 3. have you actually LOOKED at the background in the Mona Lisa? REALLY looked at it? What is going on back there? A Doctor Seuss book? Anyway, I quite like how this one turned out in the face, it really looks like Daria, I think. Also, it does look obvious as to what alter ego she's supposed to possess, doesn't it? Damn you, fabric folds!
