Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend. I created this sketch on September 17, 2004. I don't know why, but I had been in a Marilyn mood lately, so I watched Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, an old favorite. Yes, that's right; laugh it up. I like old films, so sue me. I thought a sketch might be fun. I watched the one famous scene a couple of times, and paused it to get this pose. This isn't her EXACT pose, mind you, but you get the idea. I really like how the fabric folds came out, but well, there are definitely some foreshortening and proportion issues. I think it turned out cute enough to post, though, and you can sort of tell who it's supposed to be, so nyeh.
