Looking Up. The pose I used for this picture of me I swiped from a photo of The Cure's lead singer Robert Smith in a book I have about the band. I really suck at body positioning in my illustrations and there was just something I liked about this pose that I thought I could use. On the left is the original sketch and on the right is the digitally retouched version, which was done in Adobe Photoshop 7. I really like this pic as far as being a self portrait by comparison to the others I tried, mainly because I think it looks the most like me. The jaw-line and face shape are real close. The eyebrows are spot-on. I even kept the slight lines under my eyes because I think it made the image look a bit more human. Sorry about the slight slant to the right. I have a tendency to do that sometimes.
