Tell Laura I Love Her. Guess what I've been watching? Yeah, I've been working through Twin Peaks season one recently (yeah expect a review in your future...) and for some reason, the image of Laura as Homecoming Queen in THE photo was stuck in me head. Yeah, I had my DVD box cover next to me as I drew this, but it's not meant to be photo-realistic. It's supposed to look like a bit of a cartoon-y caricature, because that's my style.... er, sort of. You'll notice that there's no original sketch version to accompany this one, and that's because it's dead crap. I nearly gave up on this pic all together because the sketch sucked so much, but then I thought I'd give a chance and see if I could salvage it with some computery hocus pocus. I'm getting into experimenting with these new "colouring" techniques in Adobe and I think I really managed to pull this one off okay. I looks like Laura Palmer, definitely. Some bits are a little out of spot, to be sure, but I still like it.
