Face to Face. It has been more than a little while since I drew one o' my classic cute fan arty things, and what better way to get back into it than with some Labyrinth goodness? Ever since I drew "Fairytale Friends," my first fan art for this film, I had fan girls after me for Jareth. There have been attempts, but he is so bloody difficult to render, what with the insane anime-style hairdo and elaborate outfits. This one was no picnic either, and it's still not without its problems. In case you don't know, this is depicting Sarah and Jareth in their fantasy masquerade ball outfits. Both of them, if you really look during the movie, have sparkles all of their clothes and are lavishly bejeweled. One heck of a pain in my ass, let me tell you. I tried to make Sarah's sleeves and bodice look slightly shimmery, if that came across properly. There actually weren't any good pull back views of Jareth at all, so I have no idea what his pants or boots actually look like and simply made something up, I hope y'all don't mind. Lastly, the title is from the Siouxsie and the Banshees song of the same name from the Batman Returns soundtrack because 1980s style goth got me through creating this pic for obvious reasons.
