Gwenevere, the Fairy. This image is something a friend of mine from Buffy Chat asked me to do after seeing my Buffy Mini Mangas. She e-mailed me some photos and this pic of a fairy she had and asked me to draw her in that style. This is similar to that art style, not dead on, but similar. I also actually think that this image looks a little like her, even more so that the sketch of her I did for fun. I used the eyedropper tool in Adobe Photoshop 7 to match her skin and hair tones. The outfit is one I designed myself, based heavily on a Dawn outfit in Lucifer's Halo trade paperback. Instead of skull lace I used a spider-web lace. I remember listening to the string quartet tribute to Tori Amos while working on this, particularly "Pretty Good Year."
