Feeling Lucky?. I was informed that the D&D character I drew, Tolleson Darkhorse, had acquired some new items and otherwise leveled up. I was told she got some light-weight yet durable elf armor to wear under her shirt which rendered the leather jerkin moot, and also came across a big kick ass sword. Well, when I heard "big, kick ass sword," I automatically went to thinking about how in anime they always have that impossibly huge, gigantically bladed warriors' sword and couldn't shove it from my brain. Stupid brain meats. So, I set about drawing what I saw in my mind's eye, even though it probably won't be considered strictly canon as far as the D&D adventure goes. Still fun, and it came out pretty well, I think.
