Frankenstein's Bride, coloured. Here's the finished version of last week's line drawing! I decided to "digitally paint" her rather than use my more traditional method of cartoon colouring which involves a midtone, shadow and highlight colours. I hadn't "painted" anything in a while and it took me some time to get back into the technique of it. This time was especially difficult as it was my first attempt at digital painting with layers rather than just masks. I have to say, I am pleased with the end result, and it took me less time to finish than I thought it would. I like how her forehead turned out the best. I don't know why; I just am.
