Angela's Little Angel. Hey, more Gargoyles stuff. Amazing. This one is for the November 2009 Monthly Gargoyles Art Contest, in which we are asked to depict the Gargoyles "ten years later" after the end of the television program. At the end of the series, Angela (the purple woman above) was dating Broadway. I decided to extended on this canon relationship and have the two of them have a child together. I tried to make the baby resemble Broadway as much as I could when seen from this angle, such as colouring, head ridges and scalloped ears. I think a simple image of having Angela hold a baby that looks like Broadway gets the idea across in a rather sweet sort of way. Even if you DON'T get what I was going for, hopefully the idea of Angela holding a gargoyle infant gets the idea of "post-series" across at the very least. I'm pretty pleased that the two faces turned out as well as they did considering the odd angles at which we see them. There are some foreshortening issues here and there, but I still like it.
