Our founder, Sir Bloody William Salutations, traveler of The Internets! Welcome to William's Bloody Hell, so named after our founder, Sir Bloody William. He is seen in the likeness above in a rare, 19th century woodcut. This image was rumoured to have been commissioned after a bout of unpleasantness in the White Chapel district of London. Do enjoy your stay and peruse our many, varied offerings, much of which cannot be found elsewhere!

1. Knights Of Ni cannot bear to hear the word "it".

2. Alyssa's high school nickname in Chasing Amy was "Fingercuffs".

3. Lex Luthor's crazy scheme in Superman was to cause an earthquake along the San Andreas fault so traumatic it would cause California to tumble into the Pacific, thus allowing Lex to corner the market on the NEW beachfront property.

4.  Ah, the Midnight Shows, are classic. Geeks love them for either being the first view of a new flick or a Halloween type tradition.

5.  Rick saying "play it again, Sam" is the biggest misinformation about Casablanca. A true buff would know Rick never said it.

6.  They ate Eddie for dinner in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I guess it'll count if you said Meatloaf.

7.  Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale, and Adam West have played Batman in the films.

8.  "I wish the goblins would come and take you away right now" is the magical phrase to awaken and bring forth the goblins.

9.  To care for your Gizmo, don't get it wet, don't expose it to bright light, and never ever feed it after midnight.

10. Oh come on. Willem Dafoe is just freaky lookin. Shadow of the Vampire? Not much of that is make-up, I'd wager. And never forget American Psycho. The "Huey Lewis and the News" scene. Super-close-up. Most frightening thing in that movie I tell you. Brrrrrr.

11. Who dunnit it Clue is a bit tricky, seeing as how there are a few endings. But well in the very end, The Butler did it (Tim Curry).

12. "Gort, Klattu verata niktu," is the phrase to stop Gort.

13. Most people who aren't movie geeks have never watched a film with subtitles. Grow some culture and see Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Mandarin), Amelie (French), Run, Lola, Run (German) and Life is Beautiful (Italian). Those are my four.

14. Eraserhead is director/writer David Lynch's black and white art house freak show. You probably wouldn't have seen it otherwise.

15. Augustus Gloop fell into the chocolate and got sucked out the drainage tube, Violet Beauregarde got turned into a giant blueberry from gum, Veruca Salt fell down into the bad egg incinerator, Mike Teevee got himself shrunk, and Charlie Bucket nearly was chopped by a giant fan but ended up inheriting the factory.

16. The Goonies is the 80's classic pre-teen treasure hunting adventure story. Complete with Cory Feldman, Short round, and a fat kid.

17. Ok, for those of you playing dumb, that infamous scene is of course the one where a wet, bathing suit clad Phoebe Cates jogs in slow motion around the pool and undoes her top. What?

18. If you have waited in line for a movie for more than an hour, I'm sorry, but you're a geek.

19. If you have waited in line for a movie in either a silly outfit or with props, I'm sorry but that's just tacky (and therefore geeky).

20. 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon is of course the word game where you can link any actor to Kevin Bacon in 6 movies or less. Example: Marlon Brando was in Godfather with Al Pacino, Al Pacino was Devil's Advocate with Keanu Reeves, Keanu Reeves was in Bram Stoker's Dracula with Gary Oldman, and Gary Oldman was in Muder In the First with Kevin Bacon.

21. If you can name a movie for each letter of the alphabet, props to you, you're geekier than most. I'm not going to do that here, but I'll give one for the hard letters just to prove a point: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Jumangi, Krull, Quills, Under the Cherry Moon, Vampire Hunter: D, X-Men, Young Frankenstein, Zardoz

22. Terry Gilliam films are right up there with David Lynch for weirdness. Maybe even moreso on account of his not letting anything get in the way of his artistic vision, even a plot. Re: Brazil, Time Bandits, and The Baron Moonchasm

23. Sark (David Warner) is the villain in Tron.

24. If you have even considered who would play you and your friends in The Movie, then you really do have a certain geek quality going.

25. Let's face it, if you own the 13 hour version of any film and watched it the whole way through, there's really no choice in the geekiness for you.
